At Buchler Barnett Spencer we combine a real estate finance advisory business with a principal investment and development platform. By aligning our own interests with those of our clients, we are able to offer comprehensive and innovative solutions to all of their property finance and asset-management requirements.

The background and the bedrock of the business is arranging and structuring finance for pan-European property investment and development projects. We deliver innovative and creative solutions across the entire capital structure, whether the requirement is for senior debt, mezzanine finance or joint-venture equity.

Since 2010 we have grown a principal investment side to our business, with a focus on development projects or schemes requiring intensive active management. These have ranged from smaller local projects to large commercial schemes where we have either acted independently or in partnership with banks or borrowers to reposition distressed assets. We have a dedicated pool of in-house equity and can also look to co-invest alongside our clients and partners, giving us considerable flexibility in our approach.
