    Ziggurat, St Albans

  • In October 2013 we acquired an 8-storey 85,500 sq ft office building in St Albans city centre.
  • We agreed lease surrenders with the three tenants and obtained Permitted Development Rights approval to convert the building into 125 residential units.
  • We obtained a further planning permission to re-clad the building and sold it to a third party developer in August 2015, retaining the adjacent 1-acre car park.
  • We achieved planning on the car park for 76 apartments in September 2018 and sold the site to Crest Nicholson Plc with the benefit of the consent.
