BBS Capital actively supports Variety Children’s Charity, with Adam Buchler and Candice Sameroff sitting on the board of two fundraising subcommittees. Over 1000 people attend these events annually and the proceeds contribute to making practical differences in the lives of disabled and disadvantaged children.

Joanne Barnett is on the Executive Committee of a monthly Drop-In run by WLS-Interfaith Project, and Kate Thackery provides essential administrative assistance as well as volunteering. The drop-in provides a hot meal, grocery vouchers, clothing, toiletries, companionship, and advice for parents and children who have fled life-threatening violence or persecution.

Nick, one of our Founding Directors, is a Trustee of KMMT. The charity currently funds homes-from-home for leukaemia departments at four hospitals across the UK. Karen’s homes provide onsite accommodation for 13 families at any one time

Joanne Barnett, one of our Founding Directors, is a Trustee of Give-A-Book, This is a charity dedicated to giving books to those who need them most, supporting disadvantaged children, schools, and prisons. It was selected by the Daily Express for its 2022 Christmas campaign.

BBS Senior Associate, Joana Cardoso. mentors for IntoUniversity. This charity aims to help disadvantaged young people gain a place within a higher education establishment. We also offer paid summer internships, providing young people exposure to Real Estate Finance, industry professionals, and meaningful work experience.

Nearly 50% of our team are women, including one of our founding directors. Candice Sammeroff LLB Hons was named as one Of Bisnow’s ’41 Women in UK Real Estate who are dominating in 2022’. The women in our team are making an impact on the industry.
